Establishment history

In the early days of Taiwan’s recovery, medicine was scarce. To meet the needs of the society, a pharmaceutical factory came into being. At the time of the June 27, 2001 gathering at the Golden Dragon Hotel in Taipei, it was proposed by the representative of Changhua District, Wang Songyu. In order to develop cooperation with the industry and the development of the Chinese medicine manufacturing industry, a national association of Chinese medicine and pharmaceutical industry should be organized. Representatives of the participating countries and counties and cities across the province unanimously agreed and planned preparations. On September 2, 1980, The waterway is the applicant's formal application to the Ministry of the Interior entitled "The Republic of China's TCM Industry Association". After more than two years of hard work, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of the Interior jointly revised "Industry and Mining Group Standards for Industry Division" and added "Chinese Medicine Industry". And amend the scope and business scope of the “Pharmaceutical Industry” group, and have been approved by the Ministry of Economic Affairs through (82) No. 039405 on November 3, 1980 and the Ministry of the Interior on December 3, 2013 (82) The announcement of the internal agency’s letter No. 8287079 was approved and established on December 10, Republic of China, in the letter of Taiwan (82) Neisha Character No. 8287435, and the reconvening of the second preparatory meeting was held as required. , formally announced by the newspaper Guangzhao member, held the first general meeting on March 4th, 83rd, elected Mr. Hou Shuidao, chairman of Santai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., as the first chairman and the convener of the supervisory committee, Mr. Chen Qingpai, and presented The Ministry of the Interior issued a certificate for the issuance of this certificate. At the beginning of the establishment of the Association, the 2nd floor of No. 46, Section 1, Chengde Road, Taipei City was leased as office space. In the Republic of China, Mr. Hou Shuidao and Mr. Chen Qing Pai joined the second session of the Board of Directors and convener of the Board of Supervisors in the Republic of China in 1986. There are 112 original members. After the full implementation of GMP, the number of member factories has decreased. There are currently 54 member factories.

In reviewing the establishment of this association for more than 23 years, the member pharmaceutical factories have cooperated with government policies to implement business operations, and have relied on the reconsideration plan of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, the supervisors of each session, and the cooperation of various professional committees. Can effectively pass on and smoothly develop.

Industry Overview

The pharmaceutical industry in Taiwan has now fully implemented GMP. It has introduced foreign automated production equipment, upgraded pharmaceutical technology, and promoted modern business concepts such as marketing, quality control, and personnel training to improve the quality of modernization and internationalization of Chinese medicine.
