The Food and Drug Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare has issued an order on May 23, 2019 to "enter gelatin and its derivatives, other animal glues and digested proteins and their derivatives for food use, and to issue official documentation of the exporting country". The Republic of China entered into force on August 1, 1980.
